Our Mission

Our mission is not to entertain children, but to call them out. To be always entertained is to be dwarfed and dependent. To be "called out" is to follow the harmonious law and of the soul's unfoldment.

Who meddles with the rosebud? Whose fingers are deft enough to pry open the marvel of folded beauty? We are wise enough to leave it alone to follow the law of its own unfolding.

But our children! Have we dealt as wisely with these buds of marvelous possibilities? Have we always remembered that they, too, must quicken and unfold through the innate law of their own being?

YFM Planning Team
Be a part of a great group of leaders who meet periodically after the Sunday service to discuss lesson plans and special events. Discuss ways to expand our services to young people and the community.

Nursery Assistants
Spend one Sunday a month nurturing our infants and toddlers in the Nursery. Work with the Nursery Lead to provide a welcoming, safe, and loving environment to the smallest members of our church!

Lead Teachers
Guide and assist children as they awaken to their own spiritual truths. As a Lead Teacher, teach at least twice a month in the same classroom to provide continuity for the children. Your creative input is vital to our program.

Supporting Teachers
As a Supporting Teacher, teach in the classroom as part of a team at least one Sunday a month. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to experience the unfolding of a child's divine nature.

Uniteens Sponsor
Support and guide middle-school age youth as they awaken to their own spiritual truths. Lessons are issue-based and offer the youth a way to explore spiritual principles and how they can be applied in everyday, real-life situations.

Youth of Unity (Y.O.U.) Sponsor
Support and guide high school age youth as they continue to discover their inner gifts and abilities and explore their place in relation to the greater community. Lessons are issue-based and offer youth a way to explore spiritual principles and how they can be applied in everyday, real-life situations. In this stage of transitioning from youth to adulthood, the Y.O.U. may begin to attend Rally at the local, regional, national and/or international levels. Supervise the youth as they develop leadership skills to self-direct some of their own events and activities.

Is your child new to the UCOL classroom?

If your child is new to the UCOL classroom, please download the Youth Registration Card, fill it out completely and turn it in to Tricia Klein, Youth and Family Ministry Director.

Occasionally, we will take photos of our children for the bulletin board and web site. We want to make sure we have your permission to post any photos of your child. Please download the Youth Photo Release, fill it out and give it to Tricia Klein, Youth and Family Ministry Director.
